Accuweigh Weigh Feeders For Iranian Ore Processing Plant
Two AccuPak weigh feeders have been ordered by a mineral ore processing plant in Iran. The weigh feeders will regulate the discharge of mineral ore onto a conveyor belt to a nominated flow rate set by an operator.
Accuweigh's Adelaide branch partnered with a South African firm to develop and supply a weigh feeder for an earlier pilot plant and this latest order for two weigh feeders is a result of the successful completion of the pilot project.
The full specification for the Iran weigh feeders was provided to Accuweigh's Design Engineer, Ross Waller, who realised the specs were very similar to another weigh feeder project recently completed by Accuweigh's Perth branch.
The specifications for the two weigh feeders for Iran are:
1) 50 - 250kg/hr
2) 250 - 2,500kg/hr
Accuracy of both weigh feeders is better than +/- 5%.
The feed rates of the weigh feeder are selectable by the operator so the correct flow of ore is delivered to the processing plant.
