Agridry Finalist in the DuPont Innovation Awards

Agridry RFM Australia Pty Ltd has been announced as a finalist in the 2007/08 DuPont Australia and New Zealand Innovation Awards in the category of Agriculture and Food Production, with their Low Temperature Dessicant Air-Drying Equipment.

The Agridry dehumidifier uses a liquid desiccant to dry air (12-20% RH), allowing sensitive products to be dried. Solar energy is used for regeneration. The major benefits are reduced energy use and reduced greenhouse gas emissions.

The biennial DuPont Innovation Awards Program is an Australian & New Zealand independently judged competition, launched in 2004. The Awards recognise innovation and advances in industry, science, the environment and agriculture and are open for entry to all individuals or companies.

The Awards culminate with the announcement of the 2007/08 DuPont Chairman's Award recognising the finalist that has made the most significant contribution to sustainability.
