DEKOMTE’s fabric and metal expansion joints compensate for changes in length due to changes in temperature in ductwork. Axial, lateral or angular movements can also be compensated for.
The advantage of new expansion joints are minimal spring rates of axial and lateral movements, short amplitude without sharp peaks in the corners. These result in the best operational performance.

DEKOMTE's quality fabric joints, which can be supplied in any geometric shape and dimensions, are constructed of multilayer temperature and corrosion resistant insulating fabrics. In addition, gas-tight films/foils of PTFE, Inconel, lead, aluminium etc. can be supplied for special application.
DEKOMTE metal expansion joints, which can be manufactured from a range of materials including stainless steel, Inconels and Hastelloys are individually engineered and manufactured. The production methods used facilitate round, square or any other geometrical section, using laminated construction benefiting from no welded corners.
The company's flexible hoses are manufactured from butt-welded stainless steel pipe, which has been corrugated by cold-forming in best practice manufacturing methods. One or two braiding with stainless steel wire provide for appropriate pressure resistance and external mechanical protection.
