Bag Sewer for Stockfeeds Supplier

A Newlong bag sewer is being used for closing bags of stockfeeds by a major stockfeed manufacturer in Melbourne’s Eastern district. Supplied by Accuweigh/Budpak’s Melbourne branch, the Newlong DS-9C automatic bag sewer machine closes bags filled with pellets and premium mixed feeds at a rate of up to fifteen (15) x 25 kg bags per minute.
Newlong’s automatic bag sewer comprises a high speed oil enclosed sewing head mounted on height adjustable pillar. The DS-9C bag sewer and a bag in-feed mechanism with integral bag top trimming device is fitted with special trimming knifes for crepe-tape bound closure of paper and laminated woven poly-propylene bags.
After closing by the Newlong sewer, the bags are then conveyed to a Fuji-Ace robotic palletiser for stacking on pallets.
