Beumer to Exhibit at CeMAT Asia 2010
At the CeMAT Asia, which will take place from October 25th to October 28th at the New International Expo Centre in Shanghai, Beumer the specialist for intralogistics will present its comprehensive know-how.
Because consumption continues to rise in China, powerful sortation and distribution systems for commerce, mail order companies, and courier, express and parcel services (CEP) are in high demand. At the CeMAT Asia, Beumer will use models to present the Beumer Belt Tray Sorter and the Beumer Tilt Tray Sorter. On the Beumer Belt Tray Sorter, for example, a series of mobile conveyor belts move orthogonally to the sorter. In order to induct an item, the corresponding belt tray is activated. The same happens to discharge items - the belt moves in the opposite direction and the item is guided softly to the destination.
In the field of palletising technology, Beumer offers the paletpac® product range. This high-capacity machine palletises bagged bulk materials. The geometric accuracy and stability of the stacked pallets enables trouble-free storage and ensures safe integration with a downstream packaging system.
Beumer will also present the versatile Beumer stretch hood® high-capacity packaging system. It packs palletised goods with minimal film consumption and secures the load with a perfectly fitting film hood.
In the field of conveying technology, the company will present the Beumer belt conveyors as tubular or troughed belt systems for the continuous transport of various bulk materials. These systems offer both economical and technical advantages over lorries, in particular when bridging impassable terrain across long distances.
Belt apron conveyors are another innovation. They can be used to transport hot materials such as cement bricks in a safe and efficient way. Because a belt is used as a traction element, capital costs can be greatly reduced.
