Budpak's Bulk Bag Fillers for The Congo
Two Budpak bulk bag fillers will be used for filling bulk bags with cobalt hydroxide at a new tailings
re-treatment facility located in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
The bulk bag fillers will be filling flexible intermediate bulk containers (FIBC’s) with cobalt hydroxide with bag placement and removal being manually performed by the operator.
Production rates for the bulk bag fillers are:
- 10 x 1000kg bags per hour
- 5 x 2200kg bags per hour
The supply of the bulk bag fillers includes operator platforms around the filling and closing stations complete with safety handrails and steps to facilitate bag placement, removal and closure.
Also included are loading station conveyors for transferring empty pallets to the loading station and loaded pallets from the bulk bag fillers to the downstream bag closing station. Two conveyors will also be fitted to the bulk bag closing station & filled pallet accumulator to facilitate bag closing and to accumulate filled pallets for removal by fork lift.
