Budpak’s Multi-Head Weighers Win AUSPACK Export Award

Accuweigh/Budpak’s range of Linear Multi-Head Weighers won the Export Achievement Award at the Auspack Plus 2011 International Packaging Exhibition. The prestigious APPMA award was presented to Accuweigh/Budpak’s Packaging Products Manager, Jim Lambros, during the event being held at the Melbourne Convention Centre.

The Budpak PLA-G series of Linear Multi-Head Weighers have the weigh buckets arranged in two rows of four to achieve the minimum footprint possible. These multihead Weighers are designed specifically for high speed, high accuracy weighing of free-flowing products (such as refined sugar) in capacities from 500g up to 3000g. Budpak’s linear multi-head weighers are well proven and used extensively in the sugar industry throughout Australia and South East Asia.

As well as supplying multihead weighers into the local Australian market, Accuweigh/Budpak has commissioned almost 100 PLA-G retail weighers for weighing sugar into many Asian countries including Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Singapore, Papua New Guinea, Venezuela, New Zealand, and Vietnam.

Budpak’s linear multihead weighers are fully Australian Made with all manufacturing performed at Accuweigh/Budpak’s manufacturing facility in Perth, Western Australia. All design and final testing of the retail multihead weighers and other Budpak products is performed under the strict supervision of one of Accuweigh’s Directors, Ross Waller, who managed Accuweigh’s successful entry into the packaging industry during the mid 1990’s.
