Carton Sealer for Vegetable Oils Processor

A carton sealer was recently commissioned in Newcastle for sealing cartons containing bags of processed vegetable oils. Accuweigh’s Budpak branch installed the carton sealer as part of a complete filling, palletising and stretch wrapping line for both cartons and drums of vegetable oils.

An automatic carton erector was also installed into the filling line to remove the need of operators to hand assemble the cartons. After filling the internal bags, the cartons are then conveyed to the carton sealer for hot melt sealing before being palletised by a Fuji-Ace robot palletiser.

A DNC model D35NC-H1 Carton Sealer complete with Melton glue system and interlocked safety guarding was commissioned. The carton sealer applies hot-melt glue to front and rear flaps of the carton for top gluing and to side flaps for bottom gluing.

This carton sealer caters for various carton sizes by the use of adjustable crank handles to allow operators to re-configure the carton sealer quickly and easily.

Budpak is one of Australia’s most respected names in filling equipment and has hundreds of bagging, filling, palletising and stretch wrapping installations throughout Australia, New Zealand and the Asia Pacific.

Since coming under the Accuweigh banner, Budpak now has access to Australia wide service centres for all weighing, filling and packaging requirements.
