Dual Deck Weighbridge for QLD Feedmill
Accuweigh’s QWM branch in Brisbane recently commissioned a dual deck weighbridge for DA Hall’s feedlot plant in Millmerran. The dual deck weighbridge is used for weighing trucks in and out of the Feedmill.
The dual deck weighbridge is a heavy duty design and is fully hot dipped galvanised for corrosion resistance. The weighbridge measures 40 metres by 3.5 metres with a weighing capacity of 80t to enable it to weight B Double trucks in a single weighing transaction.
Both decks of the dual deck weighbridge are each positioned on six Flintec RC3 loadcells and an Accuweigh R5000 digital weight indicator is used to display the combined weight readings of both weighbridge decks. The weight data is transmitted to the clients existing weighbridge software.
An inspection platform at one end of the dual deck weighbridge is used for collecting grain samples from incoming trucks to confirm grain quality. DA Hall’s Feedmill originally mixed feeds for their own feedlots but quickly grew and now supplies quality grain feeds to many other feedlots in the region.
