Most industrial companies view office closures as a negative development in what is currently a very tough market. Eximo doesn’t.

The ducting and ventilation specialist says the recent closure of its office in Victoria is the latest in a growing list of signs that a recent revamp of its technical partner and distributor system has been a winner.

Its distributors in this state - Blackwoods, HIS Hose, Ballarat Industrial, TransPower and Reece Industrial - have developed such exceptional market coverage that Eximo no longer needed to run its own dedicated office in Victoria - much to its delight.

Eximo's Sales and Marketing Manager for the Asia-Pacific region, Mr Morris Short says, "this new arrangement has particularly helped Eximo to increase stock lines and their availability much closer to the point of use. All these companies are doing a great job at distributing our products and most are stocking significant amounts of product lines so the end user is only a phone call away from picking up the gear."

The company has made it very quick and easy for customers to find which branch is closest to it, simply by checking the Eximo website because. All branches are listed online.

The closure of the Victoria office has also allowed Eximo Head Office in Sydney to put more salespeople on the phones, so that all incoming calls are answered far more quickly.

“We have also ramped up the stockholding here in Sydney so any request for off-the-shelf product can be dispatched more quickly from the Sydney office, than it would have been from our former Melbourne branch,” Mr Short added.
