Eiko Rakers to Assume Executive Post at DMT

Essen, December 15, 2008. The Supervisory Board at DMT GmbH & Co. KG has named Professor Eiko Räkers to the DMT Management Board, effective January 1, 2009. He succeeds Jörg Becks, who is assuming a new position within the TÜV NORD group.

Together with board chairman Heinz-Gerd Körner, Prof. Räkers will form the two-person Management Team at DMT and will devote his attention primarily to international business at the engineering and technology services provider based in the city of Essen. Räkers had previously been responsible for the Exploration & Geosurvey business unit at DMT.

As an independent engineering and consulting firm, DMT GmbH & Co. KG performs services worldwide with the focus on resource exploration and geology, mining and coking technology, product testing and building safety, construction and infrastructure as well as industrial testing and measuring technology.
