Eximo Modular Baghouse Dust Collectors

Air quality specialist Eximo has released its new modular baghouse technology based on the technical expertise of dust handling giant, Donaldson AustralasiaTwo strong brands in the dust collection market have been brought together in a strategic partnership providing industry with modular baghouse technology.

Air quality specialist Eximo has released its new modular baghouse technology based on the technical expertise of dust handling giant, Donaldson Australasia. Because dust containment is such a key issue in many ducting installations, Eximo decided on its own brand and specifications to suit clients through its technical partners.

Asia-Pacific Region Sales and Marketing Manager for Eximo, Mr Morris Short, says the association is a good one between the two organisations. “As our Modular Baghouse technology is all to be powered by Eximo but with the Donaldson design, we are assured of operating with the very best in the industry,” said Mr Short. “We are confident this will be a successful new line for us, particularly as we have a network of technology partners around Australia, so any end-user needing a design and install project can expect the best job possible.”

The introduction of its brand of modular baghouses is considered critical to Eximo’s growth strategy as a leading ducting supplier in Australia, NZ and the Asia Pacific where the challenge to engineer solutions encompassing OH&S, environmental solutions as well as energy consumption are forcing suppliers such as us to provide at an optimum. “Ducting and dust collection goes hand in hand and we are comfortable in the knowledge that Donaldson supplies some of the best technology of this type in the world.”

Modular Baghouse dust collectors have widespread applications in woodworking, engineering, building and construction, furniture manufacturing, food processing, grain handling and wherever dusts and fines pose a potential OH & S or environmental problem.

The technology is fully welded to increase durability, whilst the optimal sizing and assembly method reduces shipping and installation costs. It achieves optimal airflow and minimal abrasion through computer designed inlets, deflector plates and optimal bag spacing. Once installed, the product will require less than expected ongoing maintenence as the number of moving parts has beenminimised. Tool-free installation and removal of filter bags and cages is made even easier by access on the clean-air side of the collector. The filter bags can be easily replaced, as each collector is equipped with Quick-Release filter bag cages.

These compact units have high reliability and an efficient pulse-jet operated cleaning method.
