Flexicon Opens Sydney Sales Office

Flexicon Corporation (Australia) Pty Limited has opened a new sales offices in Sydney to better service the company's expanding business in New South Wales, announced Ray Greene, General Manager, here.
The facility is equipped with sales management and administrative offices, a conference center and a covered exterior entertainment area. "Adding a dedicated sales facility in Sydney allows us to double the number of Flexicon personnel servicing this market, while allowing the Brisbane and Melbourne offices to devote additional time to our Queensland and Victoria/South Australia customers," says Mr. Greene.
Addition of the Sydney sales office was timed to complement the expansion of Flexicon's Brisbane manufacturing facilities, in which the company’s existing 1000 sq m space was more than tripled by expanding into an adjacent 2200 sq m plant, which is dedicated to increasing manufacturing and engineering capacity.
The Australian operation is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Flexicon Corporation of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, USA, and produces Flexicon’s full range of bulk handling equipment including flexible screw conveyors, pneumatic conveying systems, bulk bag unloaders, bulk bag conditioners, bulk bag fillers, manual dumping stations, weigh batching systems, and custom-engineered plant-wide systems, as well as spares which are maintained in stock.
The Australian subsidiary handles sales, manufacturing and service throughout Australia, New Zealand, South East Asia and the South Pacific Rim, managing projects ranging from stand-alone equipment to custom-engineered, turnkey systems including commissioning, training and handover.
Other Flexicon manufacturing sites are located in Bethlehem, PA, USA; Kent, England; and Port Elizabeth, South Africa.
