Fume Arms for Industry
Air quality specialist Eximo has released its own line of fume arms for safe extraction of dangerous gases and other substances at workstations and manufacturing points.
This technology offers the industrial market an effective source capture of weld fume, dust, or smoke to maintain worker safety.
Eximo fume arms include a reducing cone, throttle valve and ducting all in one for a complete solution and are available diameters ranging from 80mm to 250mm, which can be easily positioned to extract dirty air from the workplace and worker’s breathing zones.
Fume arms feature a 360° free rotation with smooth, low friction manoeuvrability that engages positively when positioned. Mounting configurations include ceiling, wall, and overhead. These lightweight and durable fume arms have high quality Eximo ducting and are expected to provide a long lifespan.
Unlike competitors, Eximo’s fume arms include a wall bracket and connection that allow it to be connected to Eximo Speedlock ducting. The product will be in stock from January 2008.
Eximo believes its fume arms, in most instances, will come into the market at about half the price of competitors’ technologies in Australia and New Zealand.
