Heavy Capacity Platform Scales For Scrap Metals Dealer
Heavy capacity platform scales with a weighing capacity of 6 tonnes were recently supplied to Suburban Scrap Metals in Maddington, Western Australia. A wide variety of scrap metals are being weighed on these heavy duty platform scales including very heavy pallets loads of compacted car radiators.
With oversize dimensions of 3 metres by 2.4 metres, these heavy capacity platform scales are also being used for complete weighing car bodies. To conform to Weight & Measures requirements, these platform scales were fully certified for trade use to enable the client to both buy and sell scrap metals by weight.
An Avery E1005 digital weight indicator configured for dual range operation allows the heavy capacity platform scales to weigh up to 6,000kg capacity using a combination of 1kg and 2kg weighing increments. A Rinstrum D740 remote display using 125mm LED digits was supplied for greatly increased reading visibility when weighing large objects.
