High Temperature Double Flapper Valve

Pebco recently supplied Double Flapper Valves for the Alcan expansion project at Gove, NT. There were special requirements to be met including a requirement for the valves to be able to withstand temperatures up to 520deg.C.

The valves are manufactured in stainless steel and actuated by double-acting pneumatic cylinders. Special actuator-to-shaft connections provide power open, power close operation; this provides maximum seal effectiveness virtually eliminating leakage.

As part of the package Pebco also supplied a control panel in a stainless steel housing.
