Innovation and savings in reclaiming concrete from washed out truck mixers / concrete pumps and moulds.
The new CONSEP® 5000 is an innovative Concrete Reclaimer used in ready-mixed concrete batching plants for reclaiming concrete washed out from truck mixers, as well as in pre-cast concrete batching plants for the recovery of concrete from the moulds.
In times of increasingly stringent environmental laws in fast developing countries time was ripe for a new machine which fully meets the new requirements.
The CONSEP® 5000 by WAM® allows recovery of the residual concrete and wash water from truck mixers or concrete pumps making it possible for concrete manufacturers to comply with environmental standards with special reference to the environmental impact, prevention of contamination and recirculation of waste water and aggregates in concrete plants.
CONSEP® 5000 combines the traditional features of a concrete reclaimer based on screw conveyor technology with new technical characteristics which increase machine performance and durability.
The WAM® engineers made extensive use of the Group’s SINT® engineering polymers when designing the CONSEP® 5000. Thanks to the excellent non-stick properties and resistance to abrasion of SINT®, maintenance is simple and quick with a significant reduction of maintenance costs for the plant owner.
By using CONSEP® 5000, plants dramatically reduce their running costs. Quick operating cycles, with the system working for a shorter time at the maximum flow rate, allow energy-savings up to 65% compared to similar systems. Thanks to its non-stick properties, up to 40% less wash water is needed.
The different CONSEP® 5000 configurations allow to unload up to 4 vehicles at a time with a recycling capacity of up to 20m3/h. The excellent solids-liquid separation and washing of aggregates, as well as large-capacity settling and extracting of fines with a particle size of down to 0.2mm, position CONSEP® as a top performing machine in this sector.
With the new CONSEP® 5000 WAM® is aiming to become a leading supplier of concrete reclaimers for ready-mixed and pre-cast concrete batching plants.
