"The Hornet"

- Dust Collector Rentals have recently introduced their new vacuum loader unit, known as "The Hornet". This is a fully self contained, powerful and extremely versatile industrial vacuum loader system, which is a very cost effective and efficient alternative to the tradition vacuum truck.

The Hornet, which is designed and manufactured in Australia by Dust Collector Rentals, is a unique trailer mounted vacuum system capable of vacuuming a variety of materials and depositing into a bulk bag (FIBC) or waste skip.

With a conveying capacity of up to 10 tonnes per hour and suitable for one man operation, The Hornet is ideal for the most arduous of cleaning jobs, including hazardous dusts applications and is being successfully used for insulation removal, coal, cement, cullet and spent abrasives etc.

The Hornet can be towed by a pick up or light truck and is fully self contained, offering very substantial savings over large truck mounted "super-suckers". With a positive displacement vacuum unit powered by a 55kW diesel engine, 1.8 cubic metre vessel with integral bin elevation, on-board compressor and 100 metres of 100mm diameter hose, the unit is a truly stand alone powerhouse for every application.

Another advantage of The Hornet is its extreme versatility. Being fully self contained, the unit is particularly suitable for sites where access may be difficult and require long suction hose lengths.

With an integral filtration, complete with reverse pulse cleaning, dust emissions are eliminated and for hazardous dust applications, HEPA filter system options are available.
