Kelba Appoint New Business Development Manager

Kelba, the trusted name in industrial weighing, load cells, general weighing accessories and equipment in Australia, is pleased to introduce, Rick Shortland to their team.

Rick has been added to the Kelba team as Business Development Manager to further assist and support Kelba's customers and dealer network.

Most weighing applications are never the same and a great deal of time is required to provide the right mix of product to suit the customers actual weighing needs. Whether it's a platform scale to a hopper, a silo weighing application or loss in weight weighing application weighing with set points and 4-20m/A communication, Kelba decided that the need for extra an person was a must to keep up with current and future demand. 

National Sales Manager, Wayne Grech, said "the need for an experienced sales and technical professional with a good working knowledge of the industry was needed due to the growth of the company over the past few years."

Rick has been involved in the weighing industry since 1986, originally working for Avery Berkel where he was their National Marketing Manager and more recently, with one of Australias leading weighing companies.  "We believe Rick's experience, which covers Retail, Industrial Weighing and Process Control, will greatly benefit our customers", added Wayne.
