One such example of this new technology, is the recent introduction of “K-Sper Skirting”, a polyurethane belt skirting designed to provide solutions for sealing belts in environments from wet clay to frozen coal.
K-Sper Skirting has been designed with 60% less coefficient of friction than rubber to the belt surface. Less friction means less heat, less heat translates into less wear and more life from the conveyor belt. And K-Sper Skirting is guaranteed to outlast any other skirting on the market today.
As with all plastic products offered by Kinder and Co, K-Sper Skirting is eligible for the company’s recycling program. In this “cradle-to-cradle” solution, Kinder plastic conveyor, elevator and lining materials are collected for recycling and so prevented from ending up on a landfill tip.
