Kinder Introduces New Range of K-Kryptane Polyurethane Conveyor Belt Skirting
The name Kinder & Co has long been synonymous with innovation in the bulk materials handling industry in Australia and once again, the company is leading the way in offering polyurethane conveyor belt skirting, designed to provide lasting solutions for sealing belts in abrasive environments from clinker to metalliferous ores.
Designed as an economical, yet multi-purpose conveyor skirting solution, K-Kryptane polyurethane belt skirting will outlast rubber dual seals by up to five times. What’s more, the product fits into most clamping systems on the market today, making it simple to retrofit old rubber skirts.
With 60% less coefficient of friction, K-Kryptane polyurethane belt skirting ensures a longer life, outlasting both rubber and UHMW Polyethylene, while at the same time, protecting the belts surface. Kinder & Co Managing Director, Neil Kinder, points out “less friction means less heat, less heat translates into less wear and more life from the belt. A very important factor in reducing ongoing conveyor maintenance costs”.
K-Kryptane polyurethane can also be used as a belt wiper for “custom designed” belt cleaning systems.
