SYDNEY, 19th MARCH 2007 – PowderHandling is very pleased to announce that they have been appointed official agents for Australia and New Zealand for the 5th Annual International Powder & Bulk Exhibition (IPB 2007), to be held in Shanghai, China from the 23rd to the 25th October 2007.
PowderHandling will be organising an Australian/NZ Pavilion at IPB 2007, joining international pavilions from the Japan, Germany, France and the UK and will be happy to supply detailed information to any Australasian company interested in being part of this major International event, which is the gateway to the Asian Powder & Bulk Materials Handling Industry.
Throughout the previous fours years, IPB has experienced a constant growth in exhibitors and visitors alike, including a growing number of international participants (27%). IPB 2006 saw a total of 302 exhibiting companies from 14 countries and regions, including China, Germany, USA, Japan, France, UK, Denmark, Singapore, Sweden, Italy, Switzerland, the Netherlands, HK and Taiwan. Over 6,000 trade visitors from 25 local provinces and cities, and 13 foreign countries attended the exhibition over the three-day period.
The Powder/Bulk industry in China has developed significantly in recent years, becoming an important part of the rapidly expanding Chinese economy. It has become a major multi-industry discipline, widely used in chemical processing, manufacturing, food processing, building materials, pharmaceutical processing, mineral resources, etc., all industries currently experiencing substantial growth in the current economic climate in the region.
