METTLER TOLEDO Introduces New Process Weighing Terminal
METTLER TOLEDO is pleased to announce the release of the brand new IND131/331 weighing terminals. These new terminals are designed to interface with analog scales in process weighing applications and are available with an exciting package of standard and optional features.
With superior weighing performance, the METTLER TOLEDO IND131/331 offers industry leading specifications such as a maximum display resolution of 100,000 divisions and the unmatched combination of A/D update rate at 366Hz, target comparison rate at 50Hz, PLC fieldbus update rate at 20Hz and TraxDSP™ digital filtering.
The IND131/331 features the new Organic LED (OLED) display technology, offering a sharp display for ease of viewing in all light conditions, better viewing from wide angles and reduced power consumption when compared with other display technologies. The display has also passed rigorous lifecycle testing under high temperature and humidity environments to simulate process operating conditions and is available in various enclosure styles such as junction box mount, DIN-rail mount, panel mount and a harsh environment wall mount.
The IND131/331 terminals feature optimised target control capabilities for process applications. Capable of two-speed material transfer control using a selectable latched or coincidence target along with three comparators, the terminals also offer optional Discrete Input/Output capability (two in and four out) to enhance process control speed and efficiency. The outputs are available as relay or solid state output types that are rated for 30VDC or 250 VAC, meaning no external equipment is required to control high voltage devices.
Other features of the IND131/331 terminal include a choice of universal AC powered or DC versions, a broad variety of data connectivity modes, read/write capability to an SD memory card, and can be calibrated via a PLC if required.
