Addition to Ultra-Web air filtration technology
Specialist in carbon-neutral solutions for various industry sectors, Donaldson Australasia has added a new technology to its stable of ‘nanofiber’ family of Ultra-Web cartridge filters.
Ultra-Web SB (spunbond) combines the Ultra-Web nanofiber efficiency with spunbond toughness to provide a more robust solution for agglomerative dusts.
Ultra-Web nanofiber filtration technology is achieving high operating standards and is significantly cheaper than PTFE membrane filters.
Ultra-Web SB has performance features including:
- MERV 15 efficiency rating (per ASHRAE 52.2-1999)
- Excellent moisture resistance
- Excellent chemical tolerance
- Excellent durability
- Lower stabilized operating pressure drop
The initial Ultra-Web SB release includes four cartridge sizes for the following Donaldson collectors: DFO, DFT, DF, and large TD.
Ultra-Web SB cartridges are available as a first-fit option. With the arrival of superior Ultra-Web SB, BonDura spunbond cartridges are being discontinued as its media is made of plain spunbond material only and is now superseded in the marketplace.
New Ultra-Web SB cartridges are priced the same as BonDura but will deliver better performance — cleaner air, longer life, energy savings — at the price of plain Spunbond.
