New Sydney Facility for Filtration Solutions Specialist
Donaldson Australasia’s Industrial Group has opened a new, larger office and warehouse facility in Sydney to combine its operations for a closer working arrangement and better response times to its client base. The Donaldson Industrial Group includes Torit DCE dust, fume & mist collection, Ultrafilter compressed air & gas purification, Donaldson gas turbine solutions, Tetratex membrane filtration, as well as Industrial Hydraulic and Compressor filtration products.
In recent years, Donaldson engineers and sales had been based in an office in Bankstown, while the service department had been operating from a warehouse in Wetherill Park. The new premises in Willfox Street, Condell Park, brings together the company’s highly skilled engineering & sales teams with its field service personnel.
The Industrial Group believes the move is a very positive step to providing total filtration solutions and aftermarket service to its entire customer base.
The head of the Donaldson Industrial Filtration Solutions Group, Mr Bill Halbert, says the company had been looking for some time to integrate the operations but needed to find the right premises in the right location. "These are much larger premises - not just in terms of office space but also in terms of the warehouse and workshop facility," said Mr Halbert. "The site sees our engineers and sales support staff operate on the first level of the building, while our field sales and service personnel are situated on the ground floor, with warehouse space to stock parts and equipment needed for rapid response to service calls. Geographically, Condell Park is an ideal location as it is very close to transport hubs which can quickly take us to any industrial region of Sydney and beyond. The move has been handled very efficiently with virtually no downtime, so the amalgamated operation is already in business.”
