PTronik Recognised for its Work on Process Improvement in Industrial Dust Collection
Ptronik International is delighted to announce recent wins at the prestigious Engineers Australia (Sydney Division) Engineering Excellence Awards 2010 and the Electronics News Future Awards 2010 for its pMC Master Controller, a revolutionary process controller that accurately measures the performance of industrial dust collectors and based on those measurements optimises the filter cleaning process in real time - locally or remotely.

PTronik’s pMC Master Controller reached finalist status in two categories; Control Systems and Communication and Software and Embedded Systems. And in both categories the pMC was awarded Highly Commended notations.

Ptronik faced fierce competition in both categories from much larger businesses; Energy Australia and UGL Infrastructure.
Electronics News Future Awards 2010
Again the PTronik pMC Master Controller reached finalist status in the Industrial Electronics category and has been awarded the category winner.
The Electronics News Future Awards, continuing the tradition founded by the EDN Innovation Awards, recognises excellence in Australian and New Zealand electronics.
An Electronics News Future Award is recognition of electronics vision, design and development. The awards are open to all companies, irrespective of size, who have a presence in Australia and have been operating for at least two years.
About the pMC Master Controller
Where most baghouse dust collectors rely on continuous pulse cleaning processes to maintain plant efficiency the pMC Master Controller provides inbuilt capabilities to accurately measure the performance of a dust collection installation and based on those measurements manage the number of pulse cleaning cycles required to optimise baghouse productivity.
pMCs can be fitted with a range of sensors including: header pressure/temperature, hopper level, dust particles and moisture and can detect and warn of broken filters and both mechanical and electrical faults that lead plant failure.
The pMC can be installed as a retro-fit addition to an existing dust collector or as an OEM component within new baghouse dust collectors.
