Specialised Diverter Valve
Pebco recently supplied a Rolling Blade Diverter to a Power Station in Queensland. There were special requirements to be met including a requirement for the diverter to be able to handle fly ash with 30% moisture content.
The Rolling Blade Diverter is manufactured of carbon steel with abrasion resistant steel blades and is actuated by double-acting pneumatic cylinders. Special actuator-to-shaft connections provide power open, power close operation; this provides maximum seal effectiveness virtually eliminating leakage.
The unique design of the Rolling Blade Diverter assures that there is no material leak between the legs as well as being able to cut through a standing column of material, provide a complete shutoff of both legs and regulate the flow between the two legs.
