Because Eximo services industrial companies for ducting requirements right across Australia, many times it come across what it terms as 'standard' problems that may seem more daunting to the inexperienced.

The gap at the end of a ducting system is one of those zones that causes concern, and those affected appear to be in the majority.

Eximo Speedlock Telescopics are the ideal time saver when fitting duct systems or new machinesEximo Speedlock Telescopics are the ideal time saver when fitting duct systems or new machines.

No system has an exact one metre or 0.5 metre gap at the end of a run – it’s always an odd length. This is where the telescopic comes in. Order one in the diameter you need and it simply slides out to fill the gap.

For example, when dealing with an 836mm gap, buy a telescopic, loosen the lever lock, slide out the inside telescopic section, join both ends to the rest of the dust work then clamp off the lever lock to give a sealed join that wont move.

No cutting, welding, forming flanges etc. saves valuable time and looks professional.
