Truck Axle Scales installed for Disadvantaged Organization
Truck axle scales were recently commissioned for the Finding Workable Solutions organization in Victor Harbor on SA’s Fleurieu Peninsula. The truck axle scales are used for charging clients for the amount of wood loaded into cars and trailers and sold via weight.
Finding Workable Solutions Inc. is a Commonwealth and State funded organisation providing assistance to job seekers with a disadvantage and/or disability. Accuweigh’s Adelaide branch installed the truck axle scales fitted with a steel deck measuring four metres by three metres.
The truck axle scales were installed into a shallow pit with the deck at ground level for easy vehicle access. Three metre level approaches at both ends of the truck axle scales allows longer vehicles to also be split weighed using supplied weighbridge software for summing the axle weights.
The truck axle scales was also supplied with:
- automatic sump pump
- removable bollards
- remote display
- weighbridge software
