Truck Wheel Washer for Mining Company
A truck wheel washer is being supplied to remove fugitive dust from truck wheels and tyres after unloading at a busy port facility in South Australia.
Supplied by Accuweigh’s Adelaide branch, the truck wheel washer will also prevent tracking out when the trucks exit the wharf facilities and onto public roads.
Zac Bartolovic from Accuweigh’s Port Adelaide branch sold the fully automatic, DTW-241 truck wheel washer which is fitted with an automatic scraper to remove solids from the reclaim tank after every wheel wash cycle. A self-contained steel pit is also being supplied to enable the wheel wash system to be easily relocated with minimal associated costs.
To eliminate the need to regularly change dirty water, Accuweigh’s truck wheel washer is also fitted with a Hydrocyclone solids separator which removes small grit and solids from the recycled wash water to ensure better washing performance while also offering extra protection for truck paintwork. The Hydrocyclone is very environmentally friendly as the improved water quality greatly reduces the need for water stored in the wheel wash system to be dumped and replaced with fresh water.
Accuweigh has a full range of truck wheel and tyre washing systems available and can also manufacture custom washing solutions to suit specific client wheel wash applications.
