Truck Weigh Pads Minimise Grain Losses in Africa.

Salisbury branch in Brisbane were recently exported to Africa for use by a client in a bid to minimise grain losses during transportation to rural areas.
Due to ongoing discrepancies in the volume of grain being weighed into trucks compared to what was being received, this client purchased a set of truck weigh pads to enable the trucks to be weighed again at the rural destinations in a bid to identify grain loss during transit.
One pair of Accuweigh’s truck weigh pads, the weighing electronics and a printer were supplied to perform the second weight check. The truck weigh pads are fabricated in aircraft grade aluminium for durability with each weigh pad fitted with wheels at one end to allow it to be wheeled into positioned rather than requiring lifting and carrying.
The weighing electronics are operated by an inbuilt rechargeable battery and supplied in a heavy duty transportable carry case with the digital indicator and printer rack mounted for security. The 10m cables to the weigh pads are located in a secure area in the lid of the carry case for protection.
