Updated Level Switch from Bintech Products
Bintech Products is pleased to present a new version of PTL's tough and reliable single rod vibrating level switch for bulk solids.
The updated electronics (two wire 8/16mA-output) are now available as an intrinsically safe version with ATEX approval for gas explosive atmospheres at zones 0, 1 and 2 and dust-ex zones 20, 21 and 22.
The units come with a configuration which allows the probe with low energy 8/16mA-output to be installed within the explosive atmosphere and the analyzing unit CV2000AE[Exi] in the safe area.
Stocktrol switches are suitable for a wide range of applications:
- light materials like Styrofoam
- heavy bulk solids like sand
- powders
- granules with grain sizes up to 20mm
The single blade design eliminates material bridging, a common problem with instruments with fork design and the sword shaped blade allows easy material flow and prevents material deposit. Low energy drive eliminates cavities forming around the blade.
A tip sensitive blade means material build up on silo walls does not cause false alarms.
Constructed from stainless steel, electronics are mounted inside an aluminium enclosure with IP66 / IP67 protection.
The unit is highly sensitivity and is suitable for materials with densities as low as 10 grams per litre.
