Venturi Eductors Offer a Pneumatic Conveying Solution With No Moving Parts

Fox Venturi Eductors convert the output of a blower into a ‘vacuum’ that can be used to entrain and feed powders, pellets, and bulk solids into a pneumatic conveying system.  Because they have no moving parts, they can operate entirely maintenance free.

Nu-Con has represented Fox in Australia for over 20 years, and has sold more than 1,000 Fox Venturis into Australia in that time, in a wide range of applications including ceramic lined Venturis for fine abrasive products, stainless steel sanitary Venturi for extremely light food products, Venturis for irregular shaped products, very hot products, dump port Venturis used on the base of dust collectors, right through to conveying coal briquettes.

Sometimes Venturis are even used in conjunction with Rotary Valves to provide excellent Rotary Valve venting of any leakage air.

Another advantage of Eductors is that they do not need to be evenly fed. They will happily work under a flood feed condition or intermittent feeding. Essentially they are self metering. As momentum transfer devices, they entrain only enough product that they can accelerate and convey through the discharge line.

A wealth of information is available on the Fox Website (www.foxvalve.com) or by contacting Nu-Con directly.
