Waterproof Scales for Washdown Areas

Accuweigh’s XK series waterproof scales are rated at IP69K for use in washdown areas. The IP69 rating of these waterproof scales allows them to cope with direct hosing using high water pressure up to 1450 PSI and/or water temperatures up to 80° C with absolutely no water ingress.
The XK waterproof scale is rated to the highest international standard of housing seal integrity to eliminate the to remove this scale from the food processing area before the room is washed down. Cleaning staff can hose these waterproof scales as they would benches and conveyors and it won’t be damaged by water ingress.
The Accuweigh waterproof scales are available in two grades of stainless steel; 304 for normal wash down areas and in marine grade 316 stainless steel for use in aggressive environments with salts and strong chemicals.
