PowderHandling - Auckland Seminar
Auckland Seminar 24th May 2007:
The seminar on the 24th May in Auckland was a one day seminar and featured five presentations by experts in their individual fields.1/- Pneumatic Conveying – Principals, Techniques and the Importance of Correct Design:

2/- The use of Intermediate Bulk Containers (IBCs) in Batch Processing:
Presenter: David Newell, Business Development Director – Matcon Pacific
3/- Overview of Other Powder Handling Technologies:
Presenter: Paul Nutter – PowderHandling.com.au
4/- Basic Concepts for Mixing and Batching Plants:
Presenter: Roger Baxter, Consultant
5/- Dust Explosions – Standards & Regulations, Prevention and Protection:
Presenter: Ivan Marovic, Senior Project Engineer – Downer MBL Limited
Both the seminar and the venue at Sorrento in the Park in Aucklands One Tree Hill Domain proved to be very popular, with many of the more than 40 registered delegates venturing to the top summit during the lunch break!!
