The PowderHandling Seminar held in Melbourne on 18th November, 2009, entitled "Powder Handling and Processing in the Food and Dairy Industry" covered a range of topics of specific interest to anyone involved with the Handling and/or Processing of dry powders or granular materials within all sectors of the Food and Dairy Processing Industries.

The seminar included presentations from local and international guest speakers with extensive industry knowledge and expertise in their own specialist field and helped to take the mystery out of just a few of the different areas Powder Handling or Processing operations in the food and dairy industry.

The seminar was held at the Bella Vista Function Centre at the Quality Hotel Melbourne Airport, close to Tullamrine Airport. The event included a Table Top Trade Display Area and in total, there were more than 50 people present on the day from some of the major players in Australia and NZ's food and dairy processing industries. These included delegates from Fonterra's Australian & NZ operations, Murray Goulburn, Sanitarium Health Food Company, Open Country Dairy (NZ) and Langdons Ingredients, to name but a few.
