The SULTAN Series is available in two-wire, three-wire and four-wire models and is more cost-effective than radar. Easy to calibrate and commission, the SULTAN Series is suitable for effectively measuring difficult-to-measure vapors, dust, solids and liquids in a wide spectrum of industries, including water and wastewater, mining, power stations, food, plastics, chemical, irrigation, cement, grain, paper and quarries. Featuring a programmable, fail-safe mode, low cost-per-point and pump control, the SULTAN Series is engineered to be HART, GOSHAWK, MODBUS, Profibus and Fieldbus compatible.
The SULTAN Series emits an acoustic wave pulse, which is reflected from the surface of the material being measured. The reflected signal is processed using specially developed software to enhance the correct signal and reject false or spurious echoes. The measured signal is temperature compensated to provide maximum accuracy to the outputs and display.
Additionally, the SULTAN Series features a flexible power supply allowing for 2-wire loop power and AC and DC supplies within a single amplifier. With the SULTAN Series’ long-range capability, there is no need for direct contact between the transducer and the media, which can be located up to 393 feet (80 meters) from the sensor.
