Truck Weighing Scales was custom engineered to minimise land usage at a hazardous waste treatment facility in Western Australia. Supplied by Accuweigh’s Willetton branch in Perth, the Truck Weighing Scales are installed into a shallow open pit to allow the weighing deck to be at ground level.
These pit mounted Truck Weighing Scales eliminate the need for land consuming access ramps as required for above ground Truck Scales while also eliminating the expense for added civils of a fully In-Ground Truck Scale. The open pits on either side of the Truck Weighing Scales provide easy access to the loadcells for maintenance and cleaning purposes without the need for Confined Space Permits.
Accuweigh’s Truck Weighing Scales are Australian Made and measure eighteen metres long by three & a half metres wide to allow more leeway for trucks that are required to immediately turn on or off the weighing deck when entering and exiting this site. The inherent strength of the concrete weighing deck eliminates excessive flexing of the main steel beams under heavy vehicle loadings as experienced in cheaper portable Truck Weighing Scale.
All steelwork of Accuweigh’s Truck Weighing Scales is fully hot dip galvanised for superior corrosion resistance when used in external or corrosive environments. A Driver Control Station (DCS) was also supplied and commissioned to record all vehicle weights while a large digit remote display informs drivers of their vehicle weights.
Accuweigh is Australia’s largest supplier of weighbridge Truck Weighing Scales with hundreds of existing installations across Australia. Superior Product Support is available locally from eight Accuweigh branches covering mainland states.
